This is the ballroom version of samba. Some people call it international samba. It has his roots in Brazilian samba, but like some other dances, it differs a lot. In some places, the man starts with the right foot instead of the left foot, but the steps are essentially the same [endtext]

The figures are typically taught in Germany and the lady's body is amazing sexy and flexible. Her movement is not stiff by all means.... Kudos for the teacher to explain it step by step in a systematic way. [endtext]

[postlink] http://how-to-dance-video.blogspot.com/2011/08/learn-to-dance-salsa-basic-steps-for.html[/postlink] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfDVnX4j3-wendofvid [starttext]You either count the beats, or steps. If you count beats, then it's 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4. Or 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Whichever you prefer. If you do not count the beats, you count the steps. In that case, you count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. To match beats and steps together, steps 1 and 2 are danced on beats 1 and 2. Step 3 is danced over beats 3 and 4. Similarly, steps 4 and 5 are danced on beats 5 and 6, and step 6 over beats 7 and 8. Hope this clarifies it for you. [endtext]

So you will know what I was referring to, the side way steps could be shorter since the bachata beat is faster and deeper in most cases for a bit it seems to be out of tune. [endtext]

You're suppose to be in tune with your partner, but she just seems too lifeless to be in it. The man seems to be dancing for the both of them even though he's not that great, but I'll give it to him for even trying...[endtext]
